London Olympics 2012: On day 3 of the 17 day world event, the results are as follows.

The People’s Republic of China is leading the Olympic games
with 12 medals comprising of 6 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze wins.

Following them is United States of America
with 11 medals – 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze.

Third position is currently taken by Italy
 with 7 medals including 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze.

Fourth and Fifth positions are being led by Republic of Korea and France respectively.

Other coutries which have secured Gold medals already include Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Kazakhstan, Australia, Brazil, Hungary, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Georgia and South Africa.

Silver and Bronze winners up till Day 3 of London 2012 include: Japan, Great Britain, Colombia, Cuba, Poland, Romania, Taipei (Chinese Taipei), Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, Republic of Moldova, Norway, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine and last but not the least Uzbekistan.
