Guppu.com is an award winning news blog which tries to serve news, blogs, opinions, articles and voices that are raised across the social media also known as new media. Having seen sensationalist, inaccurate and biased reporting in mainstream/conventional media, we’re even more convinced at the need of such a news blog. However giving a tough competition to the media giants is almost equal to impossible but let’s start from somewhere. Guppu is one of such alternate/new media platforms trying the fill the much needed empty space.
Currently we serve news, happenings, entertainment, finance, music, religion and much more. Mostly you’ll find stories here which were otherwise looked over by mainstream media. We try to produce as much original content as possible, but since we don’t have enough budgets for hiring famous writers/bloggers, we try to bridge the gap through the content aggregation and curation from other sources. We’ve achieved much in such an early age as you must have heard we won Best News Broken On A Blog Award at Pakistan’s first ever blog awards organized by CIO Pakistan and Google Pakistan.
